Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!This recipe is early, but I am completing my holiday baking and I would like to share it with you before the holidays.
This recipe completes my Christmas baking for this year!! The following are my Favorites for the Holiday Season:
Makes 42 where each one has approximately:
92 Calories, 9g Carbs, 7g Fat, 1g Protein
Cherry Surprise
1 1/2 cups | Fine Coconut | |
1 1/2 cups | Icing Sugar (Gluten Free) | |
1/2 cup | Butter | |
1 t | Cream | |
1 t | Almond Flavoring | |
16 oz jar | Maraschino Cherries (drained) |
Directions
1. Drain the Cherries and set them in a bowl lined with paper towel to continue to drain. Set aside.
2. Cream the Butter with an electric mixer in a large bowl.
5. Then roll in Corn Flake Crumbs.
These can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. This is a great dessert to make in advance and freeze. Freezing does not effect the taste.
Brand Recommendations:
Here are the Gluten Free Brands I use to make this recipe:
- Nature's Path Honey'd Corn Flakes or Corn Chex - I put these in the blender to make Corn Flake Crumbs
- I don't have a brand recommendation, but make sure the Icing Sugar your using is gluten free.
